WriteOnCon

This weekend I attended WriteOnCon which is an online writer’s convention. I got to pitch My Mother Road to several agents, and received positive feedback on my novel’s concept as well as my query. 

There were several panels on diversity in writing that I participated in, and I am excited to put what I’ve learned into action.  

The only real problem I had with the event was that it was difficult to navigate on my phone. I usually don’t sit down at my computer unless I’m writing.

The convention also allowed me to network with authors, agents, and others within the publishing world, and hopefully I’ve made a connection that gets me one step closer to publishing My Mother Road.
