A Big Week Ahead

What a month! Spring has sprung around here. We have tomatoes, pumpkins, and sage from Baker Creek popping up all over the place. With most days staying above freezing now, I can finally dig out my flip-flops.

This week is Camp NaNoWriMo. I have the outline and character development for Best Witches ready to go. I get my cabin assignment in the morning, and I’m excited to see who I will be virtually bunking with. Thankfully this is Spring break from school, so I have extra time for writing - sort of.

William, my youngest, leaves for Job Corps Tuesday. It’s going to be a great opportunity for him. That being said, we will miss having him around.

Parker, my oldest, is flying off on another adventure with Tiger this week. They are going to see Hamilton in Dallas. I’m absolutely 100% jealous! It’s going to be amazing.

Jessica has big plans too. She and Parker are buying the house across the street from me. Jess has worked so hard to get to this place, and I couldn’t be prouder.

Also, with them living so close I’ll be able to spoil Taggert even more. 💙

It’s going to be strange having the house to ourselves. We celebrated our 3 year anniversary this week, and are going to celebrate by building a deck in our big backyard.

This blogpost ended up sounding like a family newsletter, but don’t you worry. Next week I’ll be back with hard hitting blog posts about how bored I am after a week off work.
